Received a package of non-skid socks to my new address last night that I honestly have no memory of ordering. I’m not in a dance class currently and only wear recovery slides at home so don’t think I’d want them right now. No packing slip. Perhaps it shall remain a mystery

And once again, o have bought way more yarn than needed for this project

Through an unforeseen turn of events, we now seem to be hosting not only Christmas Eve dinner for 20 but Christmas Day dinner for 7 as well. I am going to be the laziest bum you ever saw on Boxing Day.

Yesterday was such a marathon of moving. The workers I hired put in an 11 hour day and killed it. Then we did more loads of excess stuff from the old house and did what we could to get a decent sleep. Dump run and another house pass today. Trying to pace myself now, go from 60 to 30

I feel like the mover team is shaming me for all my boxes. When I told one I used to have 4x as many books he nearly keeled over

If any of you ever breathes a word of this to my family I will personally hunt you down and force you to watch an endless stream of Alf hog, but I have spent a lovely relaxing morning hiding out at the new house while everyone else is in a packing/load-out frenzy at the old house

A mere 5 hours into Moving Weekend and I’m already ready to be done with it

The best thing I got out of my years running the Chutzpah Festival are enduring friendships with some very groovy folks in the Yiddish cultural scene. Last night’s Chinese food and drinks with my sister from another mister Sasha Lurie, Craig Judelman, and Faith Jones was just a total joy

Truly cannot wait to see the departure of these smarmy ABC Vancouver councilors & mayor next election. Through this whole budget process they have been so cynical and disrespectful to the public. Every question from the public is "misinformation" and "disinformation" and "fear mongering" to them😒
