I’ve been planning, and I’d like to use comics, manga, indie games, and eventually films and tv shows sometime in the future. I’m up for other media, but these are the ones I thought of right now.

took a rest week this week then next week back to writing chapter outlines ✏️😤

I really recommend a sketchbook, especially if you do digital art and are use to being able to fix mistakes easier. It’s been making me less focused on perfection and helps me be looser when i do draw digitally. Also, it’s for your eyes unless you want to share it.

actually taking time to rest made me come up with new plans for my webcomic fervor, which made ideas flow easier and helped me write with more joy for the story. by deciding the things I did (ie. being the writer for it and eventually hiring a team for the art), it motivated me to work on it again.

finally back to it 🥹 arcs and how many seasons it’ll be are already planned ✅ logline and synopsis done (subject to change though in editing phase)✅ and doing chapter outlines currently (I am writing fervor by chapters and they will just be split up into episodes when I start publishing it)

i rly grew to love drawing bgs this year, it's fun to fill in a blank space and bring it to life as a supporting character of sorts to the characters in the drawing. tho i def still have a lot to improve on to reach the level of execution that i want !!! hoping to draw more bgs in 2026 yay

comparing yourself to other creative people can be helpful. Finding motivation/inspiration. But don't put yourself down because you're not someone else. It's not fair to you, bro. You can achieve your own version of success. Just do your thing. Keep swinging that axe. You're doing great.

Every sketchbook (~60) I filled between 12 to 22 no longer exist. They were destroyed in a fire. Every time I see people make fun of their old creations I want to reach out & hug them. They don't know how precious those things are, & that makes me glad for them. Please treasure your old works.

Seeing gorgeous art with 100 likes and 20 reposts makes me sad. Please share art that you like, even if you think it won't make a difference. We need to be enjoying art public ally and vocally in these times.

It also means understanding your limitations day by day, and being ok with accepting them for what they are Some days my best is inking 2 pgs of comics, thumbnailing 10 more, & answering all my emails after 8 hrs at the dayjob. Other days my best is getting out of bed, & feeding my cat and myself.
