One thing I love about closing shift at the museum is unintentionally outing the theater people. I’ll go around announcing “15 minutes until closing!” and sometimes I’ll hear an automatic reply of “Thank you 15 minutes!”

The bulbs that backlight the buttons and dials on the center console (heat, fan, etc…) of my 2006 truck burned out almost a decade ago. I can still navigate everything in the dark by memory and touch.

I got laid out by a cold for a couple of days. I’m finally starting to feel better, but my head feels like it’s full of clay right now.

Making notepads is hella easy. Get a bottle of “padding adhesive”, bind some paper together (I’m using chopsticks and rubber bands), and brush on 2 layers of the adhesive on one end. We had a bunch of postcard flyers left over from an event and I’ve made 7 notepads from them.

For our movie watch-along group next Friday, I’m going to spring “Hawk the Slayer” on them. Anyone have a watchable bad/crazy Conan rip-off suggestion for the 2nd feature?
