I have been a union member and worked for management on the other side. This highlights my experience. Unions are great at getting contracts but suck at enforcing them. "Nothing we can do" should be part of the Teamsters logo.

"A Man on the Inside" on Netflix doesn't deserve to hit as hard as it does. A comedy and lighthearted but a thoughtful commentary on aging. Highly recommend if you're looking to take a break from the latest must see drama.

In these anxious times, I am employing a lesson I learned when my daughter got sick and almost died over 10 years ago. Worry about what you know not about what you don't. Worrying about all the things that could happen is hole from which no one escapes.

I know people are upset with recent cabinet nominees. I ask though how affective was MTG in Congress? Getz, Hegseth are performative like MTG but lack any real knowledge on how to get things done. I much prefer the loud dumb guy all things being equal to the silent smart guy

Not that they will but Republicans should remember the cautionary tale of Sam Brownback. Sam was the governor of Kansas with a super majority in the legislature. He made deep tax cuts and eliminated programs all over his state. Lauded at the time as a great fiscal victory.
