2025 #gaming backlog 40 - Tekken 7 (PS4) A huge step up from 6, T7 feels the closest to 5 in terms of quality and heft so far. The story mode is a welcome addition (finally), and the accessibility options for casual play are really cool. Pretty good! #videogames #tekken

People need to start coming to terms with the idea that Magic the Gathering isn't Fortnite. It's actually Dynasty Warriors. Anything can be a Warriors game. Doesn't matter if it 'fits' the aesthetic of the original game. It's a framework for other IP's. Magic is the same. UB shouldn't be 50% tho.

I've thought about it a lot and I don't give the slightest flying fuck if WotC are pushing UB so much. I get cool cards I love to play with, I get more enjoyment out of the game I love, and I get to see friends get that exact same experience as well.

The thing I love about Lorwyn is it's a bit like Tarkir: Dragonstorm for me in that I can let it wash by without even remotely caring. This one even has the bonus that afterwards I can go back to it at some point and grab whatever new Merfolk are released for my Thrasios/Tymna rebuild.
