Okay, just got around the story endgame for Z-A. Didn't cover *everything* I wanted as a proxy Pokémon Z (but there may be epilogue-like stuff to come). Still enjoyed it massively, some fantastic characterisation in this one, even the city felt like a character. Gonna be hard to Nuzlocke though.

Not gonna do a big new year thing, but it's not likely I'll get a 106th game in before midnight, so here's 2025's performance.

I know most of you playing Legends:ZA are well past this and into whatever you're doing in Mega Dimensions. But I am really loving this game, the battle system takes a moment to get used to, but once you do, it's wonderful. Plus the new Megas are a joy.

Here is the first pass at the rebooted deck list. This was one of my favourite decks and in hindsight, retiring it was the wrong choice. Should have held on until it picked up some new angles to refresh it. I have a particular focus on anything from Tarkir and later, since they're the *new* new.

Just attempted the Ultra Moon E4 on my Hardcore Nizlocke attempt. Fully on Hardware, so it's taken about 140 hours of gameplay to get here. Unfortunately, a couple of close misses meant the run ended at the Champion battle. Full wipe = Run over.

Good time playing cEDH tonight, a massive part of which was that it was with friends, so while we're playing to win, we're still having fun doing it. Kefka didn't make an appearance in G1, but like all good villains, shows up at the end of the second act to inflict massive blows to the party.

In modern EDH, there is no reason the Darigaaz deck should work as effectively as it does. It gets a new update fewer times that there are transfer windows per year and still does a job. It also is allowed to be played fewer times than there are transfer windows per year.

This LGS is a third of the way there, just needs to ban little and medium dogs too. End the tyranny of dog.

I felt I was able to commit to a complete build of one of the below before the end of the year. Polling with 100% of the vote was Eirdu//Isilu! So I'm now working on the general concept of the deck and have 4 (closer to 3 and a half) options. Trying to use all of the Elemental God, so to speak.

The best way to ensure Azula can continue to attack safely is simply to just manage the board state. A couple of cheaper options are absolutely fine, such as Brotherhood Regalia, but the investment there is minor. In the end, this is a control deck, not a combat deck, we want to invest in spells.

Bit of a rough one tonight, as the table recognised early on that Azula is not only powerful, but also central to the strategy. But that's why we test, so we can find the gaps before we take the deck onto a public stream (but mainly because I love tinkering to correct weaknesses).

The best of my pre-release, prize and extra packs. My promo was Legend of Kuruk, but managed to wrangle an Azula too. Opened regular Koh in my pool, alt-art from an extra with Ozai. Played a solid B/R Firebending deck but didn't have enough to splash Kuruk or Avatar's Wrath.

It's been 2 months since I put together a new deck, the lab has been quiet. Lots of good things from Erinis last night, but plenty still to tinker with. The deck felt vulnerable (despite what the screenshot would suggest), and reliant on Erinis & Street Urchin for removal. I don't like that.
