Just finished. I went in blind and I’m glad I did! Very thought provoking and the author’s use of symbolism and imagery helped frame this narrative in a way that really speaks to the social climate of the 30s. I will read more from Wright very soon! I’ll be thinking about this one for awhile!

I wanted more from The Dream Hotel. It offered nothing unique or exciting and the narrative felt limp. This was a missed opportunity for a genuine critique of AI and other technology modernization. I DNF'd with 1/3 left.
