I can understand having a code or equivalent being something that changes every game so you can't bypass the thing that nets you the solution, like the Bombers' code in Majora's Mask for instance. Whereas something like Chrono Trigger I could skip half a dungeon because I know the resulting code

I love this game so much, and at 70% off (~$5) I’d recommend it to basically anyone. Worth it for the soundtrack alone.
