Just finished this demo. It was amazing. Incredibly smooth and responsive gameplay, very polished. Probably gonna be a day 1 pickup for me!

Just under 70 hours and I rolled credits on Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. I still have some post-game stuff to do but this was my first DQ game and it was so charming.

15 and a half hours ain’t too bad for the first day. Granted the first few hours were from the demo, still made good progress today. Absolutely loving this insanely charming game.

I’m at the end of Final Fantasy IV and excited to be completing two classic FF games in less than a week (finished FFI the other day). But holy crap, the final boss Zeromus is so crazy hard. Gonna revisit the fight again tomorrow with a less sleepy brain.

Currently playing Final Fantasy 1 Pixel Remaster. There’s definitely a charm in its non-complexity. Absolutely insane to see how far games have come in their storytelling techniques and gameplay mechanics.

This is basically like an audiobook but with multiple narrators making up the story as they go. You will laugh and you will cry. And best of all it’s still early enough that if you check them out now, in a few years when they’re really popular you can say “I liked them before they got big.”

I did this a couple years ago too. You find a lot more peace when you stop having expectations from people who are bad friends.

One of my favorite parts about being an adult with free will is having the ability to play cult classic games that I missed when I was younger. 🎮 Currently playing: Dragon Age: Origins I can not express enough just how much charm this game has.

Well. That’s a wrap on Ghost of Tsushima. Amazing game. Can’t believe it took me so long to finish it. Debating whether I wanna hop directly into Yotei or not.

I’m having a lot of fun with photo mode in Ghost of Tsushima so I thought I’d start a little thread so I can share some as I work to wrap up this game. I’m in Act 3 now but it’s been like 3 years in the making. Here are some of my faves so far.

Got inspired by one of @mechamudkip.bsky.social’s Tsushima photos and thought I’d try to recreate the vibe. Still could use some tweaking but it’s a very cool concept. Gonna keep playing around with it.

3 hours feels disappointing. I’m not a pvp player but was looking forward to the campaign. :( At least 6-10 hours is more standard for fps campaigns.

Cronos: The New Dawn rules so far. I'm not super far in but I already know I'm gonna love it just based on how it looks, feels, and plays in the first bit. Incredible atmosphere. Definitely some Dead Space inspiration as everyone expected. But it's also giving Silent Hill a lot more than I expected.

I picked up this special edition of Dune today and I’m really in awe over how cool and detailed it actually is.

Finished Doom: The Dark Ages. Solid 8.5/10 for me. Couple minor things, I think, could have improved it just a bit. But, incredibly fun game. NOW, to finish getting the achievements :D
