Philadelphia sports watcher.
I can't believe one of their solutions was to add crappy wide receiver screens back to the playbook.

Lots to be cynical about in the way MLS the entity has treated Messi as a business. But it remains awesome to watch him play.

If you immediately spike the ball on every down, you will never turn it over, never take a sack, and end every drive with a kick. Perhaps Sirianni will try that next.

My contributions to Eagles offense discourse today: (1) Jalen Hurts gets the benefit of the doubt from me because he was the best player in the NFCCG and Super Bowl. Sirianni and Patullo do not get the benefit of the doubt because the offense has been garbage whenever they fully control it.

The Eagles deserve credit for their reputation of running like a baseball team in how power is divided. Now they need to run themselves like a soccer team in being as cold blooded and unsentimental as possible to a coaching staff that can only point to past accolades for its defense now.

This unwatchable performance is made even worse by Al Michaels's obvious contempt for Philadelphia fans.

Between the conservative approach, the atrocious playcalling and offensive design, and the cascade of idiotic penalties, there's little evidence that Sirianni is adding anything of value at this point.

Jordan Davis seems like a really good dude. Easy player to root for.

Jordan Davis plays quarterback, and serves up a Thanksgiving meal to Camden families: āIt takes a villageā
The Jordan Davis Family Foundation also provided each family Thanksgiving turkeys and AT&T laptops as they left the Kroc Center.

It is amazing how Jalen saying, at *one* post-game press conference, that āthe offense was going to look how [he] wants it to lookā is talked about like a smoking gun that, actually, anything bad with the play calling and play design is his fault.

In the short term, I'd settle for Sirianni (1) taking a nap, and (2) picking up the playbook from 2022 and trying whatever he finds in there.

Eagles getting pressure with 4 makes them so much more effective. Their blitz rate is way down the last two weeks.

This is a team that used to go for it on fourth-and-goal with a trick play. Their idea of clever, aggressive offense now is to try to draw the defense offside.

That run from the Eagles was disgusting behavior. Just absolutely repulsive. Why even have a roster this good if you're doing that?

Eagles are doing the thing where their game plan wildly overcorrects in response to the opposing defense's strengths rather than just attacking.

Once again asking the Inquirer to display the election returns in a manner that you don't need an advanced degree to parse (and that doesn't require a accurate turnout projection to be helpful).

The advantage of a star QB on a rookie deal is that you can use draft capital on future starters (rather than on QB) and the cap savings to fill out your roster with veterans. Instead, Commies spent draft capital to get a bunch of veterans who are washed / not difference makers.

I previously interpreted this as a āwe want to control the clock and take as much time on the ball as possibleā approach. (Arguably nonsensical when you almost always have a talent advantage.) This is⦠something else.
