We’ve had an immensely difficult time with our two year old after having complex double hand surgery. I’ve felt guilty having to get signed off because - carers get basically no support. But, she’s done so so well, and she makes me feel very proud.

When I was ‘good’ I could do 13ths. But considering I’m rusty, managing an 9th with other keys being played first time is pretty good.

So after pooing all over the floor of delivery suite - I may have realised my capacity for ‘shit’ generally is quite low. And have been signed off for 2 weeks. Although I may have truth bombed a friend and they’re not seeming to be dying of fallout so. I guess that’s a thing.

Watching a friends child go through their own gender journey has been wonderful but equally difficult. I’m both happy to see how much they’re supported, but equally jealous. My own parents understanding of gender is very archaic. And now everything feels so much more complex in my 40s.

Hi I’m a fimbrated colon, and I’m going to give you sepsis … I wondered round with this for about a month. Bunch of weird stuff, eventually collapsed in my bathroom. Then at the doctors for a 24 heart tape I was uncontrollably shaking. Once admitted; I dropped to a BP of 70 over 30… Fun times!
