Our pupils loved @jimalkhalili.bsky.social talk on time travel yesterday at GCSE live. We love the simplicity in which you explained some tricky concept! Have you ever seen Beyond the infinite two minutes? It is one the most original time travelling concepts I've ever seen!

I frequently share this study with my pupils. The book Inner Drive made '99 studies that every teacher needs to know' is great.

Another brilliant piece by Becky! Some excellent food for thought, even before it considers AI use for teachers.

The problem with a lot of ocean "exploitation" is that it's like mining a human for calcium. Yes, a human body contains ~1kg of calcium, and you could take it out, but it's already *doing* quite a lot of useful things, and the human has far more potential to help you if you leave the calcium alone.

I set my year 8s a Minecraft education hw today at 4pm. They have 1 week to make series and parallel circuits using redstone. A pupil has already emailed it me his hw by 7pm! That is some good engagement.
