We loved reading this story featuring our friend and partner Huda Alkaff, founder of Wisconsin Green Muslims. 🌱 Grateful for leaders like Huda who are reimagining what environmental leadership can look like and who is at the center of it. 💧🌍

Good news from our meeting with Rep. Bryan Steil's team. They know how critical full State Revolving Fund support is for water infrastructure—$215M in requested projects in his district alone. Clean water in rivers, Lake Michigan and our homes is bipartisan.

We’re in DC this week to urge our elected leaders to fully fund the Great Lakes. Clean, fresh water at the tap and in our rivers and lakes is a bipartisan issue.

🛑 The EPA is a shield, not a weapon. Under Lee Zeldin, it’s turning its back on us: ❌ Clean air & water rollbacks ❌ Loopholes for polluters ❌ Climate & EJ funds frozen This isn’t leadership—it’s sabotage. We applaud the 139 EPA staff who spoke out. 👉

Trees make neighborhoods cool! Literally. As our Caitlin Reinartz points out in this story, the cooling effect of even a small tree equals 7-10 window air conditioners, a big impact in neighborhoods that lack vibrant green spaces.
