I'm still recovering, but I feel it's time to not put things off and start collecting money for FFS honestly. I'll start the fundraiser some time around october, I have the clinic in mind, but I'll have to get a consultation with them first.

Something just tells me that deciding the fate of a vulnerable minority through the voice of majority is not how democracy should work. (In other words Latvian parliament has set its eyes on trans healthcare following Russian/USA/UK example and I'm terrified.)

Consciousness transfer and teleportation are definitely two scifi concepts I don't believe in even if they were possible. I don't believe that what comes out on the other end is the continuation of the person before. (Yes, I believe everyone in star trek is dying and getting replaced with a copy.)

Everything until yesterday morning feels so long ago.

Woke up in surgery confused trying to get up, lol. But the nurses were awesome and fixed me with more sedation, but it wasn't scary even if I could feel movement from behind the curtain. I am so happy it's done for real. Changing and walking into the OR was scary, but everything else was so chill.
