It’s been two days since we picked up our rescue puppy. She’s 9-months-old, but until today, she’d never had an official name. She’s been variously known as 47, Dilly, Lilly, and almost Nelly, but today she officially became Winnie — Welsh origin, meaning “fair one”, “white and smooth” or “pure”.
