oh yeah I guess I should mention that Shuten Order does pick up a fair bit after the prologue also at least one of the major characters has a new VA with only one credited role on BTVA, and voice acting sounds amateurish at points in an endearing way. New talent is cool.

shuten order's presentation kinda isn't landing for me I guess nobody else really does the 2010s Shinbo/Shaft visual style because it's so distinct that, when you do, it feels very derivative
