I've been sick as hell since Thursday night so excuse the late #caturday post but how could I not share these photos of my sweet lil' lady Kenma? I love how much she adores cuddling with my ratty old coat - I always lay it on my couch for her and she gravitates towards it immediately.

I don't tend to get sick often, maybe once or twice a year, if that. But when it does happen I turn into a quivering pile of virus-laden jelly, unable to do much of anything besides suffer and down as many pills as I can without making the problem worse. Thank god Mew's here for me. Love ya, beb.

I see this all over Bluesky constantly and it makes me see fucking red. The second something becomes convenient, solidarity goes out the fucking window, and people will happily guzzle liquid shit if it saves them a few dollars. Fuck ANYBODY who uses AI or ChatGPT for ANYTHING, PERIOD. No exceptions.

Sometimes I worry that I'm annoying the piss out of my loved ones with my vehement and unrelenting hatred of all things AI, so it's comforting to see so many people who utterly despise AI on principle as much or more than I do here on Bluesky. It's the closest I've ever come to a spiritual belief.

I keep forgetting to post so let's just do the last three. Days 13, 14 and 15 of our hot sauce advent calendar! Chipotle hot sauce? Good, a bit too hot but not offensive, 4/5! Sweet habanero hot sauce? Good taste but the heat is strong and LASTS! 3/5! Smoked garlic hot sauce? AMAZING! 6/5 from us!

I was a useless lump all day thanks to the snow making my commute too risky. Most of what I did was laze about and sleep. Polly was happy I was home. Day 12 of our hot sauce advent calendar! The primary ingredient today is aged red chilies, and we are enthusiastic fans. We were sampling this while Mew made us an absolute DELICIOUS pot roast and it just made everything better! Great flavor, perfect heat, didn't overstay its welcome! 5 out of 5!

Day 11 of our hot sauce advent calendar! Better late than never. Today's (yesterday's) offering was, thankfully, not as ridiculously caustic as #10: sweet chipotle hot sauce! I assumed this one would be a real winner, and I was correct. The flavor is delicious, the spice is perfect! 5 out of 5!

You know an unexpected thing I actually kinda miss from all my time wasted on Reddit? UAP posts. There were always mundane explanations behind every photo / video (or they were just fake) but there was also sometimes a stark, singular moment where you stopped and thought, "...What the fuck is that?"

Day nine of our hot sauce advent calendar! Tonight was a lovely addition: Cajun hot sauce! Its heat didn't overstay its welcome and the flavor was unique and delightful. I'm not super familiar with Cajun cuisine but this makes me want to learn and taste more! Four out of five from me!

I saw that stupid Coke AI ad while out for dinner with my mom the other night. And it occurred to me that, even outside of the dystopic dread sown in me by its mere existence, it's also just... More of the same. Coke has made ads just like this one for decades. This one is just cheaper and worse.

Late again because my brain doesn't work about 40% of the time but it (was) day 8 of our hot sauce advent calendar! This one was bound to be a hit in our household: garlic hot sauce. Perfectly amount of garlic flavor versus the heat, which also doesn't overstay its welcome. Five out of five from us!

Honestly, this Chocolate Chipotle Hot Sauce was much, much more enjoyable than I figured it would be. The flavor is really enjoyable, the heat is right where it should be, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. I've been snacking on it for a minute now. I think it's a 4 out of 5. I'd like more of it.
