Announced on stream today that Ubisoft sent me a 7 foot tall banner that I helped design for Anno 117. The banner will be available in the game. How to get it will be discussed later. My prep for this was rushed & the whole thing was jank because of Twitchcon, but it was probably better that way.

Today was supposed to be big announcement day but silly things happen sometimes and it will now be tomorrow (Thursday) on stream. False alarm but I am still super excited to share things with everyone on stream.

I figured there would be idiots trying to talk stupid crap on this game. Little Rocket Lab game is a gem of a game and a bargain of a price really for how much game play it has had. If you like factory games & want it mixed in w/ some story and blended into semi-lifesim/farmsim world check it out.

This post isn't bullshit, check your hotel. My wife was confirming various things for me earlier today and ended up re-booking my hotel at the same place. Saved over $1k on the trip, 4 nights stay. $1k doesn't grow on f'n trees in my neighborhood, so this was nice.

I have been painting youth soccer pitches for a long time now. Measuring & painting without computers or GPS may be old school now but it's still the cheapest and for a 40 yr old volunteer run non-profit it's the only way to go. Deep down I do love getting a perfectly measured & squared field

New HOTAS part two. The new new HOTAS is fully functional. Came in today after the first new one was returned for the "twist" function not working. This one works. Fully tested. Time for X4 again. Maybe some flight sim. 👀

Maybe I just feel he is too conservative at key moments but I kind of feel like Lafleur played for the tie and not the win. That pass to Golden in the flat was meh. He got his tie though.

Dropped off the new HOTAS at FedEx today so they can take it back. I know another will be sent but it's still kind of sad. It was so new, it hardly had time out of the box. Poor little fella.

Logitech doesn't surprise. They are cool taking money for their product that they haven't really changed in years, but can't be bothered to change the documents for it that are mostly about software they won't let you download any longer. Corporations FTW.

This is definitely a step up in HOTAS. Thrustmaster lasted me 9 years though and most the buttons still work, can't hate on it.

YouTube doing NFL games is just bad. Endless Google related commercials, cramming in content creators, and a whole "sideline report" that was just a dumb way to get 6-7 into the broadcast. So cheese. 🤓

Some glorious football food to start the season. A huge fresh chicharron with some guac and some fire freakin salsa. That stuff is evil-good but it's a treat.
