ough, switched to linux yesterday and it's been a challenge to get everything working. after one sleepless night and many hours of messing with settings and the occasional driver i'm finally at a level of functionality that i'm used to. if it weren't for my friend who knows linux i'd be fuuucked

Been watching movies with friends and ranking them. We just watched the 1960s batman movie, pretty much unanimously ranked it top of the scale. I forgot how much stupid fun that movie is.

COMING TO #ANTHROCON, an art zine! We made a bunch of artwork based on playing cards. The contributors going to Anthrocon and I will have a bunch on hand to give out if you see us! I'll also be throwing a few on tables and such, so look out for them!

i love categorizing things with dumb labels. like yeah this one is baller, and this one is joyous. ooh this one is triumphant AND puzzling! i should put this in my game, giving the items dumb labels that are shown when you sell them.

finished the drawing for this april. i'm happy with it, but i'm gonna have to do something easier next month.

not sure if getting scam commission offers is a good sign or a bad sign. on one hand, if bots are flagging me as an artist then i might've achieved a basic level of visibility. on the other hand it's a little disheartening when that's the only interaction i get.

I'm forcing myself to draw again. I haven't returned to my groove yet, so everything I draw feels flat and motionless. hopefully I get something done for this month's patreon post. There's only been a couple of times I've missed a month and I hate when it happens.

one of our cats died yesterday, and it's been hard on my family. i haven't been right since it happened, just kind of empty and pained. i don't know what to do really, i'll probably just float around until i feel okay again.

i think this is it, the last bit of old art i wanted to post. i'll post more as i keep drawing so at minimum there will be a new piece every month. plus whatever misc things i want to post about.

a lot of people liked this one, and i'm pretty happy with it too. i wanted to make something that had both of my sonas in it, since i'd been focusing on only one for a while. and making something simple felt right.

only a couple left to post now. granted, there are a lot of little things i didn't post, but i don't really feel like they need to be posted.

i made this one almost immediately after that last one. i was trying to figure out how to do something like it again. i don't think i figured it out though.

some day i'll reveal the presence of this account to my friend circle. until then i want to see how long it takes for them to realize i'm here. doing things like this is how i entertain myself when i'm bored.

i'm not entirely sure how i made this. it far exceeds everything i've made since. i keep going back to study this and try to figure out just how my hands did this. i can't explain it, my abilities are a mystery to me.

getting into the last few bits i have before i start posting em as i make em. when i made this because i wanted to do more with one of those three drawings i posted the other day. it turned out a lot different, but still mostly similar.

more old art of mine. looking back at what i've made is interesting, i've done a lot of experimenting with how i draw. very rarely am i able to pin down a consistent style. in some ways i like it, but it does make opening commissions hard since i can't intentionally draw a specific way.

these three were done at the same time. they're closer to sketches than finished works, but i like them as they are. i made these a little over a year ago, so we're almost caught up to my recent art.

this year's bognumite drawing is done. only one new bognumite this year, so i redrew all of them.

here's another piece of that place i created. less coherent than before though. my love of swoopy spiral shapes takes precedence over normality.
