The PS2 truly is the best console ever because it is constantly becoming more powerful. What a damn good year for Indie releases

Mostly hyped for Yakuza Kiwami 3. Really not sure about the Rikiya redesign, but having a packaged in 3 Gaiden focused on Mine has my attention. 3 is definitely the game in the series with the most to gain from a remake, so I'm down to see how this turns out.

Yo are we actually getting a Mine-Dai love story (unrequited as it is) origin in Kiwami 3???

42 hours later I have beaten Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter I think it's the greatest remake ever made. New and reworked bracer requests. Fantastic combat that modernizes the old style and enhances the new. Politically relevant more than ever before. I'm so happy to be alive during Trails 10/10

12 days until one of my top 3 games of all time gets remastered.

I got to play this back at SGF and it was an awesome little slice! Clear Bioshock inspiration mixed with a lot of popular horror game tropes, and some great monster designs and visual direction. Would definitely recommend checking the demo out

Of course this leak happens a day after I said on our podcast that I think Kiwami 3 is still 2-3 releases away lol. Honestly would love this to be true though, 3 has my favorite Kiryu moments and it needs the polish.
