Spent the morning trimming a batch of bowls. It’s one of my favorite parts of the process—refining the form, giving each piece the right weight and balance. A good foot can make all the difference in how a piece of pottery feels in your hands.

Trying some beefier handles on this batch of ceramic mugs. Love working pottery and clay late at night!

What I Would Do Differently If I Started My #Pottery Business Over - 1/6 : Focus on fewer products. When I started, I tried to make everything—mugs, plates, bowls, planters, vases. If I could do it again, I’d start with 2-3 signature items and perfect them. Less is more. (keep reading) #ceramics
