Painting the inside of a bowl is always fun for me. I like to blend red and white for shades of pink and swirls.

Trimming pottery tends to be a bit of meditative magic especially when I have several pots to trim in a row. It’s not just a process; it’s pure, satisfying calm and porcelain makes it even more fun 🌸

My efficient studio hack is trimming mug bases while the clay is still very wet. What saves you time in the studio?

Just another step in the process. The rims were lightly sanded. The slip tends to be a little chunky but it needs to be so there’s grooves and crevices for the black underglaze wash. wipe it off and paint cherry blossoms on them. #pottery #stoneware #mugs #stonewaremugs #mugshotmonday
