We're back to season 5 of Agents of SHIELD. The gang are back from space/the future, with yet more characters I don't care about, and are apparently fighting fear itself? I'll be honest, I don't have a clue what's going on. Coulson is dying, and I still love FitzSimmons more than anything.

Have just bought tickets for the opening show and England v USA game of the Women's Rugby World Cup for a massive...£10 each. Bloody excited to see my future wife, Ilona Maher, in action again, as well as the fucking superb Red Roses.

We pause here on SHIELD, and ditch annoying Daisy for my girlfriend Jessica Jones, who I love and adore. Season 2, here we go!

After a lovely, but flipping hot, day out, we've retreated back to the sofa and the MCU. We're on to Agents of SHIELD, season 5, and the gang are lost in space.

Starting another new to us show tonight for the MCU watch through. We're up to the first season of Runaways! The only thing I know about this is that James Marsters is in it, so my Buffy fan heart is hopeful.

I Kissed A Boy is BACK on the BBC and I am beyond ready for a big gay summer with these boys. I've not even finished the first episode and I'm already loving the outfits and the music choices again. Whoever chooses the music for this show gets it so right. Mash up of Pony and Toxic, anyone?

We've had a few days off the MCU watching, but we're tonight we're back and starting the first season of The Punisher. We didn't watch this at the time, and I'm excited to see it!

Up next on the MCU watch-through is the Inhumans series. We did start with this when it first aired and gave up. We're going to give it a second chance, but reserve the right to skip it if it's as bad as we remember!

Tonight's MCU viewing is Thor: Ragnarok. Definitely the best Thor movie, and the best soundtrack. Let's go!

Excellent Sunday evening viewing coming up, as we're onto Spider-man: Homecoming. All the Spidey movies are great, so I'm looking forward to watching them all again.

Sometimes you think you've nailed the adult thing, and sometimes you have to blow dry your jeans for a night out, because you forgot to put them in the dryer.

The Pratchett estate continues to be amazing. A Life With Footnotes is amazing too, if you're a Pratchett fan who hasn't read it. I cried buckets reading it.

I went to an activist meeting today to write letters to our local MP about this vile Supreme Court ruling. Who knows if he'll listen to us, but mostly it was very heartening to speak to other people as angry as me. Community is a wonderful healer, even when things are bleak as hell.

Once upon a time, there was a woman who could fly... I'm so excited to have reached the LifeDeath arc in my trip through X-Men history. This is such a brilliant story and really cements Storm as one of my all time favourite X-Men characters.

Up next, Agents of SHIELD: Slingshot. These are mini webisodes, following Yo-Yo.

We can't have too much fun in this MCU rewatch, now can we? So it's back to Agents of SHIELD we go! I'm kidding, I'm actually enjoying season 4 so far. It's much better than the last two seasons.

We've got a treat for the MCU rewatch today. Black Panther! I love this film, and I'm so sad we only got one Black Panther movie with Chadwick Boseman. He's fantastic in this.

It's time to watch Doctor Strange! It's been ages since we've seen Strange in current continuity, and I've missed him! I like the first Strange film a lot, so this rewatch should be fun.

We're back to Agents of SHIELD for season four. The gang are all split up, some out in the field, some back at HQ, and Daisy off doing mysterious Quake things.

Our chronological trip through the MCU brings us to Defenders. I think we watched a couple of episodes of this when it first came out, but definitely didn't finish it. I can't remember if wonderful Claire is in this, but I'm excited to see Jessica again. I've missed her!

For our sins, it's back to season three of Agents of SHIELD to continue our chronological adventure through the MCU. Everyone keeps telling me it's worth sticking with this show, so I'm hoping you're all right!

Tonight's MCU rewatch viewing is Black Widow. I admit, I wasn't especially excited for this film (I like Natasha, I don't care for ScarJo), but I actually really enjoyed it when it came out. I've only seen it once though, so how does it hold up to a repeat viewing?

After the struggle of disappointing Iron Fist, we're back in a good place with the great MCU rewatch. Captain America: Civil War is tonight's viewing!

We're taking a break from Agents of SHIELD now during this chronological MCU rewatch, and moving on to Iron Fist. I'm hoping it's better than I remember... Iron Fist is one of my husband's favourite characters, and we were both so disappointed by this series!

Watching some more Luke Cage this afternoon. It's cool mixing Daredevil in with Luke Cage, seeing the two stories play out together. I really hope Disney do bring more of the Defenders shows over. It's fun to get a fuller world, not just Daredevil.

I'm really saddened by the death of Michelle Trachtenberg. I feel like I grew up with Michelle, starting with Harriet the Spy, then Dawn, then Georgina Sparks.

Just back from seeing Captain America: Brave New World, which I actually enjoyed more than I expected to. I totally agree with the criticism about how thin the plot is, and how badly the film needs a proper antagonist. It's definitely being used to set up the next movies.
