I'm alive! Here's some of the exercises I did this week, trying to stay within 45 min and using the biggest brush possible. It was soooo hard to stop at 45 min.

I've been in some sort of physical body pain for over a month. Partially why I haven't been around as much. I'm hitting a tolerance wall for it, but I know plenty have chronic pain issues and deal with it on the regular. Any tips? I'm so tired of resting, even if I need it. 😩

I've been slowing down and doing some exercises with a friend to work on some of the things I can improve on as an artist. This portrait exercise was to focus on leaving the shadows mostly alone, and to give more information to the transitions between the shadow and the light.

She’s only three and I don’t even have to have her on my lap anymore for this. This is weird.

On a long shift I promised to sketch Mickey for my 3 year old. I showed it to her this morning. Her eyes teared up, she looked super touched, and said "I really love this!" She hugged it and kissed it. It was a really nice moment. Oh crap, Disney's going to sue me now aren't they.
