Accomplished my goal of unlocking all of Hitomi's outfits in DOA2U. Had to beat Time Attack on Hard mode 15 times to do it... easier said than done (especially with how rough Steam Deck emulates Xbox)! Debating whether I want to go for 100% with all characters (or at the very least my favs).

Oh my God... I just realized that, since we're now getting Shadowheart/Gale Secret Lairs, there's a decent chance we get a Minthara Secret Lair this year. I would be ALL over that, I don't care if the cards suck, Minthara's my favourite deck and I would love a fancy art for her! #mtg #DND #BG3

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon has got to be one of the most annoying ordeals I've ever gone thru to get a game up & running. That the game isn't very good (and, in fact, is despised by its fandom) makes it all the more annoying and is likely a big reason WHY there's barely any avenues left to play it.

Look, you've probably heard this a million times, but: Oh my God, it is so easy to hack a 3DS. Most annoying part is having to take the SD card out a couple times and restart your 3DS, but if you can do that and follow some simple instructions, it's like a 15 minute process.

See a butt, post a butt. (Once again, my decision to have this ready to repost on my phone pays off.)

Man, I really did not appreciate how much DOA3 improved the core gameplay from 2. Combined with the huge graphical leap & awesome stages... I think I like it more than 2 now. HOWEVER, DOA2U is the best of both worlds. I now agree with the general consensus of it being the GOAT (it even has Hitomi)!

I still have a couple games to play and articles to complete, but I'm gonna call it now: the long-promised Ace Combat Love/Hate series will be coming out Feb 15, with new articles coming out every second day thereafter. Been a lot of work to get here, looking forward to getting these out there. :)

Oh my God, the scope of the battles in Ace Combat 6 is INSANE... like, to the point of being barely comprehensible. Still early days on this one for me, but if nothing else, it's a spectacular-looking game considering it's nearly 20 years old!

Hot damn, I did the first bit of storywriting I've done in *years*! Nearly 2700 words in one evening ain't half bad! Now to see if I can sustain this and actually finish a draft!

Oh no. I just had an idea for the story that's been in my head for 15+ years. I have tried writing it on multiple occasions, but I always, inevitably, hit a narrative roadblock I am unable to get over/move past, so the whole thing stagnates, dies, and gets discarded for the next aborted attempt.

I wish I played Ace Combat Zero when I was a teen. I think I still give Ace Combat 04 the overall edge, but Zero is so close that it's an accomplishment all on its own.

Man, after being sick for nearly the entire holiday period, it was nice to have a weekend where I could get out with friends and family and just chill a bit.

Man, Doom Eternal is a HELL of a good time. I need to play something really shitty, I've had too many fantastic games lately and need a real palette cleanser, LOL

God damn, AGAIN: when you think you've figured out E33's game, it completely upends it & somehow manages to do so without making the preceding hours of investment pointless. Honestly bravo, what an insane game. It's got its imperfections & flaws, but its bold swings connect & knock it out the park.

I can get most games I want emulated, so my list here is the games I either can't get, which currently run like shit, or which require a ton of hoops to get running that I can't be arsed: 1) Catfight: The Ultimate Female Fighting Game (This game looks so fucking stupid, I wish I could get it to run)

Oh my God, I had forgotten just how PERFECT Ace Combat 04 is. Like, it's one of my all-time favourite games, but even them I forgot just how perfectly-designed the game is. The PS2 era was something else, so many devs putting so much effort into every facet of a game! That story hits SO hard too!

My local game store has had a lovely, complete copy of DOAU1+2 for ages, but it was listed at $999... They finally updated the price this week to something VERY reasonable and you'd better believe I snagged it, if only for those cheap-ass "trading cards", LOL.

Man... you play A LOT more games WAY more often when you get a Steam Deck. Being able to pickup and play it in short bursts makes playing whenever SO easy. I'd struggle to hit a 3 day streak without it, let alone *46*. 😲

Man... the end of Act I in Clair Obscur blew my fucking mind. Legitimately one of the biggest narrative moments in gaming for me. Then we transition into Act II, where you go from feeling powerless to overpowered as fuck, LOL. My builds are strong enough now that I rarely even need to dodge at all.
