I finished Metaphor. I think it is the best game that team has ever made. It’s actually crazy how there are zero misses on the cast. One of the greatest RPG parties of all time, if not the greatest.

Metaphor is prescient about the post-release near future in the same eerie way that Death Stranding was disturbingly prescient about the COVID-19 panic. Metaphor feels like a response to 2025, not a game that came out the year before.

After 20 years, the members who worked on Silent Hill 2 got together (the guy, Usagi Tanaka, with glasses on worked on only SH3, tho). Although a couple of them had already left the restaurant, we had a great time together. We all promised to get together again and everyone seemed to be doing well.
