The problem I'm finding with coding best practices and design patterns is that many are aware of them, but shockingly few know how to apply them.

Been getting poor sleep the last several days and am feeling it. Been trying more aggressive dieting since Sunday since I've still been struggling to lose any weight so I've been relying on coffee to help keep me from feeling like I'm dying.

I hate that the future of software development is agentic (vibe) coding. My utility bill doubled for this shit.

I will probably never be a manager at my corporate IT company and that is perfectly fine with me. All corporate managers are trained to act the same way, think the same way, and value "value" (i.e. profit) above all else. They literally give up their humanity. It offends every part of my being.

I need to play through the first monster hunter stories after I'm done with 2. Seems there are a lot of callbacks to its story.

I dunno, Crimson Desert seems too massive to be true. It's like a hodge-podge of a ton of games across different genres. I guess my issue is that it's missing a unique identity. It's like the game was generated by AI.
