I've seen this take a lot & the story doesn't really back it up. I've seen this type of relationship several times in real life. Leslie cares about Eva but in that stage mom, sports dad kinda way. Ppl talk about romantic struggle love but not parental struggle love #BeyondTheGates

It was probably both. I learned early that most of the advice ppl give you is autobiographical & most of the time when ppl snap it's because you're caught in the crossfire in a battle you didn't even know they were fighting. But yes, someone doing dumb stuff does instigate this #BeyondTheGates

As much as I want Vernon to have more to do, I do hope he's not cheating ONLY because the writers have been overusing the cheating storyline with the Dupree women. The secret he had with Martin was good, & there's a lot to unpack with him & Bill #BeyondTheGates

A constant frustration of mine is the lack of ppl building communities to counter what's already happening & could happen 🫤 I know many ppl are probably (hopefully) building their own personal communities but as much as we talk online we don't share legal advice, safety tips, or mutual aid enough

And yet, due to him not being American or British, he'll never get the academic respect he deserves here 🫤 I've noticed the same thing with French, German, & Canadian writers
