"clean code" is a made-up thing not based in reality. every definition is a mix of vague concepts and parroting. something game development has taught me is to think in terms of "can i easily remove this code" -- and that takes multiple forms. not just the one that popped into your head just now.

I created a 3D model with code today, using Three.js. It’s the first time I designed a 3D print in code and even though it’s very basic, I feel so powerful.

Book review time! 📖 I finished Proving Grounds by Kleiman yesterday. 4/5 stars. It tells the forgotten history of the 6 women who programmed the ENIAC. The first computer programmers in history. It’s told well, but what struck me most is how long their work was unrecognized.
