My editors at @w42st.bsky.social just released a poll of Hell's Kitchen residents for the Congressional District 12 election. It's pretty interesting.

Got home from Mandalorian and Grogu and for some reason desperately needed to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home. (I have no good explanation for this.) God that's a good movie.

I had the pleasure of getting the chance to write about this Hell’s Kitchen legend. I love how the history of the neighborhood, like the history of New York, is built out of colorful, talented, hard working people like this.

Love seeing how Absolute Green Lantern from @pornsak.bsky.social and @rafaelalbuquerque.bsky.social continues the DC Absolute idea of “If we give our heroes harder backstories, we give them the chance to shine in all new ways.”

If you’re a sci-fi fan and haven’t yet discovered Adrian Tchaikovsky’s, Childrem of… series, I’m so excited for you. God it’s good.

It's interesting reading reviews of the Mandalorian & Grogu. Everyone seems to be talking about how this is the first Star Wars movie in 7 years, as though that means it needs to be Significant rather than just a Gay Romp. Maybe we don't really know how to experience a lore-less Star Wars movie?

I realize some of what @davidharper.bsky.social had to say is in direct opposition to this move, but I would love to believe Brad Winderbaum and David Abdo at Marvel TV would read this anyway, because they've made some great shows and David has gathered some excellent suggestions.

UWM graduation speaker Clayborn Benson III just taught the graduates about the moral principles of Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is so often just a punch line in some Christmas joke. Really meaningful to hear someone share its principles for living.

This is such a deal, and for some of the most engaging comic book writing and interviewing to be found.

In Milwaukee overnight for my nephew’s graduation. We’re staying in a beautiful three bedroom house. I wondered how much the students who rent it pay. It turns out it’s the same amount I am paying for my 200 square foot studio. I’m not crying, it’s just windy.
