This is a no brainer. However, we need these committees to improve how they message to the public, who are still so attached to their neighborhood schools and see regionalization or merging as a threat. At the end of the day, it's about maximizing the local dollars that municipalities 1/2

Man, I knew everyone was riding way too high on Lawrence and Jacksonville. Crazy that they almost could have been the 1 seed in the AFC.

Five Republicans voted against Trump as U.S. Senate voted 52-47 to advance a resolution curbing Pres. Trump’s Venezuela war powers. More work remains, but this is a step in the right direction.

Five years already since January 6. Undoubtedly an insurrection. Full stop. I know there is fatigue around talking about our national discourse right now, but we need to keep conversations about events/individuals that threaten to dismantle our country based on narcissism, gaslighting, & bigotry.

And oh btw, it's about more than four walls and a roof. If someone is homeless, it's usually not because they want to be, but because they have barriers to necessary supports like healthcare, transportation, income, or education. You can't address the housing crisis without addressing these, too.

Maybe a hot take (?): the housing crisis isn't just about more housing. It's also about the right TYPE of housing. Part of the issue is that seniors who are still in single family homes they raised their families in have nowhere to go to age in place that better suits their needs, 1/2

If Stafford gets MVP this year by virtue of this potentially being his last season & it's for the feels of a nice career send off, that is so soft and weakens the award. The rationale that it's only Maye's 2nd season & he has time to get it later is garbage. Long football careers are no guarantee.

A reminder that MVP is not meant to go to the player with the best stat line. It's about what V stands for...VALUABLE. Stafford's offense is stacked and there's a lot of game manager QBs that could make things happen there. Maye is THE straw that stirs the drink in New England 1/2

Miami should really move on from Tua. And Tua should move on from football. Tua's decision making was a majority of the problem this season for them.

Super important vote this week. My expectations are low considering a majority of the GOP's base doesn't realize Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act are the same thing.

Beyond stale tone, message, and CTA. Numb. Where is the self reflection? If you're a coach and you keep losing, do you keep the same playbook and starting lineup?

Oklahoma includes 2020 election denial in social studies standards. How does that sit?
Curriculum experts suggest that partisan framing within the subject can compromise students’ skill-building in analytical and critical thinking.
