Nevermind! bought the remake (its like $3 rn) and its really good. I remember when it first launched on switch I heard it was pretty rough but they've improved it quite a bit. Its still a bit unpolished but you could say the same about the original

the complete versions of the level songs in the NiGHTS ost are so insanely good. i wish they just used these version instead splitting them into mood based variations that you'll never hear. A high score run of a level takes a bit less then 8 minutes so you'd still be able to hear most of the song.

gacha fans need to feel more embarrassed

the NiGHTS A-life system is so fascinating. its so deep but its so obtuse and at odds with the main gameplay it took nearly 3 decades for people to figure out how it works. im replaying the first level over and over again so i can gradually adjust the genetic diversity of this little ecosystem.

its a shame the panzer dragoon remake sucks ass cause id love a version that doesnt max out at 20fps
