I know this is going to sound naive or earnest, but I genuinely find myself shocked by how little people seem to be upset by the levels of corruption we're seeing. Is that the median voter assumes everyone is corrupt already? Or isn't actually getting stories about the corruption?

Before the election, I warned that Trump would pardon all of the Jan. 6 defendants and some of them would form the core of a new rightwing paramilitary organization loyal to Trump. At the time, people dismissed me as alarmist. I stand by that prediction.

Disgusting and dangerous rhetoric. And can we just call it what it is? Straight up misogyny. Softening it with cutesy descriptors like "manosphere" just feels gross and minimizes the threatening aspect of this culture of hate towards women.
