The Biden administration has set a record for the number of Guatemalans deported in a single year. As of December 18, the United States has deported 60,277 in 2024, according to the Guatemalan Gov't's Immigration Institute.

The Democrats have not "followed progressive advocates to the left." They have followed the 90s Clinton prevention through deterrence strategy, the post 9/11 mass fortification, and the wishes of border industry, to which Biden issued record contracts during his four years.
