A baby sits in a pram on the tube beside a woman who is sleeping. Between them is a pane of glass. The baby places her hand onto the glass – palm and fingers firm against it. She looks at the woman as if sending her a nice dream, then takes her palm off the glass and looks away.

~ Why do I feel like this about trees ? Of course, trees have been our best companions, longer than, even, dogs. You can't pick fruit from, build a cabin out of, or put dogs on the fire to keep warm. Also, dogs don't take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere or prodeuce oxygen. Trees are BFFs.
