I'm tired of pretending the bottom method isn't superior in all respects. Expecting me to measure the distance and then somehow get the model under the template without giving extra movement instead of just slapping down the template and putting it at the other end.

@fortifiedniche.bsky.social are y'all reading this? It's been truly fascinating so far. It has an underlying thesis, I think, that being involved in a minis game is a predominantly hobby oriented experience, not a game play oriented. Maybe the rules are the guts, but hobby is the spine and heart.

This #mini took 3 kits, resin 3d printed parts, and a dremel tool (to cut the helmet off a mono pose model) but I think it worked out. My plan in the coming weeks is to provide a sort of "recipe" for making a fireteam in this style. #tabletop #wargaming #miniatures #wargames #miniaturepainting
