First session in, I’m in love. The game feel, visuals, aesthetic, level design, the MUSIC. This is semi-linear arcade-y bliss to me. Feels like one heap of RE4, a tsp of Vanquish, a tsp of Stellar Blade, a dash of Exoprimal and a huge helping of its own magic. #Pragmata

At the halfway point on main missions. I dunno, game has something that keeps me trucking along. It has just enough sense of discovery and wonder to keep things fresh. A Ton of player freedom. And a good sense of reward, too. And I love the environments. #CrimsonDesert

House, Trance, Drum and Bass, and Jungle have all had a resurgence in both popularity and quality. Now we just need Trip Hop/Downtempo, Big Beat and general cheesy dance tracks to return. Then the return of the mid 90s to early aughts will be complete ❤️

Beat a run last night due to a bug where I just stopped taking damage midway through the last biome😅 Due to a lack of substance and a variety of bugs, I can't really recommend the game to others but I am sure glad I checked it out. Will probably revisit 1.0. #MorbidMetal

Planned to bury my head in the sand by grinding Marathon today. But then I’m reading about cheats occurring. The only thing that could keep me from playing this incredible game😔 Can’t find anything concrete and I play console only but still concerned/bummed over this #Marathon

Seeing players struggle to explain why they don’t think RE9 is as good as 2, or 4 etc. and it cracks me up because the answer is so painfully obvious. RE9’s save room theme isn’t nearly as good as others. Like, it’s still good. Just not as good.

If last year’s reoccurring theme in the great games that came out was the lack of a mini-map, this year’s reoccurring theme is developers not shying away from the ever talked about “friction.” Marathon, RE9, Crimson Desert, MIO, each have what I perceive as purposeful friction.

What slows a player down in Virtua Fighter—your opponent hitting or threatening you & your hesitation. The more comfortable & accurate you are, the faster you will be in this game always. As we adjust to changes like these, I think this still holds true in VF as it always has 🙏🏼

My thoughts on why, despite using ECD a lot, I feel the evade cancel changes in #VF5REVO did not negatively impact my speed or way I play the game much at all. Or why it was not too hard for me to adjust to it. I would like to say I’m also known for being fast & aggressive.

These story missions get brutal but they make you ‘git gud’ and really learn the game and cars. I was definitely enjoying the game but after chapter 30 I think I began to outright love it. Some of the most intense single player arcade racing I’ve experienced. #Screamer

Obviously the utility of YouT*be is incredible. And I love me some game related media on there. But my absolute favorite thing about YT is seeing recent comments on old songs that you love. Sappy I know, but it makes you feel connected to others. Like all this matters somehow.
