Dragon Warrior 2 RULES what the heck

Moonsigil Atlas is fun but I feel like it may be too mentally taxing to play! I think my ability to actually keep playing this game will HEAVILY depend on whether I can learn enough common patterns to not be constantly thinking about every single turn

I'm still not sure about like I don't play a lot of VNs so I don't even know the proper words here. The thing where text is confined to a box at the bottom, vs covering the whole screen

Yeah Dragon Warrior 2 is growing on me! It's still not quite hitting the same as the first on a gameplay level, but it's got lots of charm

I did the extra stage in MoriyaRhythm with only 1 damage taken! 0 damage is definitely possible But probably not full combo. I apparently dropped the combo at some point. I don't know how though, I thought I landed every shot

Okay Dissidia is kinda silly but also EXTREMELY hype. I love it when games can pull off that balance

Dissidia has many strange decisions but here's the one that's currently living in my brain: The game systems are designed around having light, fast attacks that deal BRV damage and slow, heavy attacks that deal HP damage ... But you can combo a light into a heavy anyways

Someone I know was playing FFXII and I remembered very little of it so I decided to try to replay it myself After an hour or two I decided I couldn't stand the slow, completely flat combat so I went to watch a cutscene compilation instead, because the story did seem interesting

Yknow what. Yeah I'm done with Dragon Warrior The game has ground down all of my patience. I'm not having fun anymore

When I started playing StS2 I felt like Necrobinder was the strongest by a LOT but when I started going for higher ascensions it stopped feeling that way real fast I think that's because of her unique mechanic that rewards being able to fully block every turn really hard

It's kinda wild how big of a deal each equipment upgrade is in Dragon Warrior I'm used to just using whatever money I have to buy whatever has big numbers and barely notice. In this game you actively work TOWARDS buying a new piece of gear, and you IMMEDIATELY feel the improvement in combat

The thought of rereading Umineko keeps orbiting around my mind but the existence of chapter 8 is what keeps making me go "nah not worth it" But maybe I can just read the first 7 chapters and stop? That's a pretty satisfying conclusion in its own right I think

I did it!! I beat the extra stage in MoriyaRhythm

Slowly getting more consistent at MoriyaRhythm's extra stage I THINK I got to the last spellcard, by tanking a lot of hits. There's a couple patterns that I still don't know how to dodge and a couple others that are just really hard

I still think the mark of a REALLY GOOD puzzle game is when it makes you laugh, out loud, the moment you realize what it expects of you

I mean I guess I can give the extra stage a shot
