"Lucky me." She grins as she leans up just a little to kiss him properly. "Only if you ask nicely, and promise me dessert on the way home." She says softly, stealing his root beer for a sip.

"I don't doubt you have, babe. Still on a day like Christmas, it must be hard to see such things." She brushes a hand over the side of his face. "Come home safe, tonight? And don't stay out too late?" She asks softly as she leans a little closer to kiss him softly.

"I think what you should do is take a deep breath and leave things for what they are for the day. Just step back and do nothing." She steps a little closer and wraps her arms around his arm. "Well maybe not nothing..." She jokes with a grin.
