Sometimes I think I’d be so unstoppable if I didn’t have chronic neck pain.

I love reading, but not novels. If I’m craving fiction I got movies and video games. So like I need to know if I’m alone here? Does anyone else predominantly read nonfiction? Can anyone please recommend their favorite (scholarly sound) nonfiction books??

Good morning. I hope your Saturday has you feeling just as fabulous and cunty as 4 year old me after clearly winning Pretty Pretty Princess.

Just thinking about how being a parentified “gifted” glass child in a low-income household influenced me becoming an educator and normalizing hyper vigilance/overstimulation/self-sacrifice until I hit burnout and now I get to have a fun midlife crisis where I retrain my brain and redefine who I am.

So it would seem that my body will let me sleep for 5 hours or 12 and there is no in between 🙃

Nothing inspires me to lock in and finish a book quite like getting the email notification that it’s overdue. I can let myself down, but am I really going to let down the LIBRARY?
