Keeper is a uniquely fun project to support. Having played and captured the entire game several times over, the noir update was still surprisingly compelling. The vibe changed enough to require another full capture to understand how different compositions felt in monochrome.

Easily in my top games from the last 10 years. It will make a tank nerd out of anybody. A game with no plot and no narrative has the most immersive voice acting around.

Fun fact, like all games using cd audio, you could put the quake disc in the cd player and skip track 1, listen to the whole game soundtrack on your discman. In fact, as soon as I bought the game I cracked open the jewel case and reversed the paper and wrote NIN on it
