We had a fun time showing off A Corporate Machine at a #gamedev pub, hosted by @swedengamearena.bsky.social. It’s an uncontrolled environment, and getting lots of hands on it when it’s early and rough really lets you see what the biggest hurdles are for players to get in to the loop. #Indeigame

Love it. This sort of thing is also still viable in a less NPR 3d style by using more mesh detail and adding WPO to the shader. Not everything needs to go full blown simulation.

I was thinking that this would be a soft side project that could take me a month at least … one week later it’s printed and ready for priming. I’ve got trouble not obsessing over projects once I’ve started feeling happy with them

Netflix has gotten me to download quite a few games on my phone. Simply by buying up ports of already popular titles like Hades or Braid. Apple too should be putting more money into getting provenly good games onto their platform? Hopefully getting Monkey Island on Arcade soon is just the start.

With reviews of the new iPad Pros dropping, and consistently saying what they’ve been saying the last 6 years, the two biggest flaws for me using the iPad professionally is that file handling sucks and that the AppStore is keeping a lot of pro software off the platform.
