Been looking at Discord alternatives and I'd like to shout out Fluxer for having the coolest vision for the future. The app is still a bit unstable so I wouldn't put all of your eggs into the basket. But I do recommend moving at least *some* of your eggs from the Discord basket to the Fluxer one.

I keep seeing folks say they'll just accept a Teen Friendly account on Discord rather than scan or ID and I don't know if I wanna mass normalize leaving NSFW pals out in the cold yet again. Especially with all the censorship stuff goin on I think we gotta stand with the freaks now more than ever.

I've done it! I've made art! I recently finished writing "The Warden" which is the second short story I've ever written. I can't wait to perform it for VRTravellers (it launches on the 28th, you should come!) Writing this has already been really good for the soul. Would recommend.

In line with the frequency illusion, I've started seeing more interactive and non-competitive worlds in VRChat (though of course they were there all along). I've really enjoyed "Write a Letter" by Elliot112. Lots of love and also pain engraved into that world.

The migration is complete! Was kinda scary to migrate a running project to a different service while also completely rewriting the server, but it all worked out in the end. I feel like I've gained quite a lot of empathy for cloud devs through this experience.

It's been 24 hours since the first brick was laid on the monument, over 65 thousand bricks have been placed! Don't expect many size updates because the whole point is for the tower to be unquantifiable. But I am so overjoyed at how many people seem to be enjoying it that I felt compelled to share.

I am excited to announce the launch of my new #VRChat world, Monument! Help us build a really big tower one brick at a time. The tower is synced across all instances, so each brick you place will increase its height for everyone who joins the world. I really hope it will one day reach the sky.

Going to Knutepunkt was an absolute joy. I met so many cool people, and I’m very sad (and a little scared) that I have to go back to the US. I will likely write a bit about the experience itself later, but for now, I want to share this snowperson we made before the Nordic Larp Talks.

Today we ran the first official load test for basis, which was stable until around 106 people on a tiny digital ocean instance.

I believe that as established members of a community, we should help new members feel comfortable rather than expect them to adjust to us immediately. Which is to say that I've been annoyed by the new player experience for vr #larp for a while, and finally feel confident enough to write a guide.
