A workshop on analysing social #trust data will take place from 9am-12pm (CET) on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 October. Samo Uhan and Živa Broder (University of Ljubljana 🇸🇮) will explore social and institutional trust through theoretical insights and hands-on SPSS #data analysis.

New research published by Comparative Political Studies (Sage) was summarised in this recent @hertieschool.bsky.social 🇩🇪 article. Researchers analysed our #data to assess whether decreasing social mobility increases support for far-right political parties.

As part of the @ec.europa.eu 🇪🇺 funded project, Infra4NextGen, a searchable #inventory of #survey #questions has been published. The inventory features over 10,000 items fielded in major #surveys on each of the NextGenEU themes: Make it… Digital, Equal, Green, Healthy, and Strong.

Contextual information from statistical organisations is available to download alongside our Round 11 (2023/24) survey data. Statistics on crime, democracy and politics, demography, the economy, education, health, and migration have been compiled from a range of sources.

A #questionnaire module has been designed to measure the social dimensions of the green transition. As part of the @ec.europa.eu 🇪🇺-funded SoGreen project, the module includes 30 questions that will be fielded on #surveys including our mixed-mode web-first panel, CRONOS.

Last week, we published a data summary – The Digital Divide across Europe – as part of the Infra4NextGen project, funded by @horizoneu.bsky.social 🇪🇺. The report includes analysis of #data collected from #digital technology questions fielded by major European #surveys over the past 20 years.

The third release of Round 11 (2023/24) #data is now available to view or download via our Data Portal. It means that data and documentation is now available from 28 countries who took part in the most recent round of our #survey.

Research recently published by Political Studies Review (@journals.sagepub.com) focused on the relationship between political trust and political participation. Erasmus Häggblom (University of Antwerp 🇧🇪) analysed data from the first nine rounds of our survey (2002-19).

A study into whether there are socio-economic inequalities in the prevalence of diabetes was recently published by Sage Open. Sahar Sidahmed, Siegfried Geyer and Johannes Beller (Hannover Medical School 🇩🇪) assessed our Round 7 (2014/15) data on diabetes, education and employment.
