Last Saturday we were very lucky and stayed dry until we reached Malham then a lovely, atmospheric walk through the mist towards Pike Daw followed by hazy sunshine and spectacular views. Finished the walk with time to join in the festivities and watch the fireworks in Settle.

Last Saturday we left the World Heritage site of Saltaire, & set off to explore the hills and woodlands around Baildon. It was surprisingly strenuous walking with plenty of ups and downs to work those legs. A great way to get fit and enjoy yourself at the same time!

Last Sunday's walk, using the 830 @DalesBus to Hawes, followed the Pennine Way from Hawes over Great Shunner Fell to Muker in Swaledale. The weather was much better than forecast and the views along the route were spectacular.
