Who’s the best radio station pup ever?! This is Pepperoni who hangs out in the lobby of WTIP radio in Grand Marais. I was there to raise $ and awareness of the plight of small public stations after federal funding vanished. Cool staff. Great fun. Good cause.

Such sad news. A smart, savvy man, David Gergen served four presidents and leaves behind a legacy in public service. He has died at the age of 83. I had the honor of talking to him last year when he was in town.

Melissa Hortman, the top Democrat in the Minnesota House, was killed along with her husband, Mark, in their Brooklyn Park home early Saturday in what Gov. Tim Walz called a “politically motivated shooting.”
