A lot of this applies to many creative + technical roles, and the second part of his response I think is why so many of us in animation and games etc make their job their whole personality: Whether it's healthy or not, that was almost required to get to where they are now.

Are blogs still a thing? the most promising seems to be Google Blog hosted from my own site to keep it contained. I'm looking for a place/way to produce more long form text based content on Animation. I know video/YT/TikTok are more popular but don't fit the way I'd hope. Lemme know!

Today's Maya Scripting Challenge: Connecting a HUD element to a camera's focal length, that the viewer isn't looking through. Was tricky, since there's a preset for focal length, but you can't choose the camera. Fun times in MEL land
