I think what I’m most excited about with my new violin teacher is that she already understands how I learn from just a single conversation. I walked in today and she has a plan mapped out for the entire year. She also pulled some AEW themes and said that we will be incorporating them into lessons.

I’ve been using virtual strings for so long I just felt like it was time to learn the right way. It’s been on my mind for years.

My 1st violin lesson today I learned how to properly hold the instrument & bow. As a guitarist of 35 yrs, this feels brutal. I have a lot of work to do on my posture. Learned my first scale & played Twinkle Twinkle Litter Star 😂. But I have my starting point and will be documenting my progress!
