I personally think what ends up happening is the major labels will cut deals with the AI companies. They will grant them a blanket license to scape their catalogs in exchange for $$$. Any “creators” who use their platforms and release music will surrender publishing and digital revenues.

Generative AI in music is still in heavy litigation. I don’t use it and don’t advise others to either. But I’m really concerned that when the dust settles, the music industry will have sacrificed natural creativity for $$. 😞
