Books arrived! Actually they arrived last week. And I’ve shipped them. 📦 I’m just really bad at posting things on the spot.

Our home Daggerheart game is getting deeper into lore… time to make my own map of the Sablewood. 🗺️ I used the descriptions from the official location guide, the QuickStart Adventure, & The Mauraders of Windfall adventure to create this map of the Sablewood.

While I wait for books to arrive… time to get absorbed in a decades-long obsession. 😍 I usually borrow digital books, but I get the appeal of a big hardbound copy. No notifications, no other apps to open. Just focused and immersed reading with tactile pages to flip.

This is what I call chaos mode (slightly cleaned up to remove bills n stuff). It will get messier as the week continues. Currently creating/packing some of the reward items from the Kickstarter. And yes that’s the ECCC Critical Role panel playing on my drawing tablet. 😄

Who knew how disabling hurting my back over the weekend would be? Limitations to my mobility were expected but the amount of sleeping resulting from not being able to do much was a surprise.

A "turning point" in my graphic novel, Beyond the Road. Shortly after a flare-up, I attempted to hike the windy hills of Fort Ord in California. I was in survival mode, focusing on my feet when, due to Titan's chaos, I stopped to look up and only then saw the gorgeous landscape around me.

I bought myself a manga inking kit (dip pen & nibs with test illustration cards) and decided to play a bit. It’s a lot easier to use than I remember! Or else muscle memory kicked in. 😄 I will note the included (deleter?) paper makes a huge difference. Less snagging and stray fibers in the pen…!

Watched the 1st 3 episodes of Mighty Nein and wow… this show is like, Avatar the Last Airbender levels of good. I’m both angry and impatient that I have to wait a week for the next episode. 😆 Non CR fans are going to love this as much as the Critters. IMHO. 😍
