Back on the work train today. Gonna start patterning oout wings and a tail for a commission. Ill also be reviewing submissions for the single wing slot sometime this weekend.

Throwback to the second HTTYD move release. I made a over 6ft Toothless, with 2 interchangeable fins, and 3 magnetic props.

Parrot tail is done! Just need to finish cleaning up the airbrushing and the parrot will be ready for AC. Picts hopefully in the next week or so depending on weather

Just sat HTTYD and damn did DreamWorks blow it out of the water! Comparing Disney's live action Lilo and Stitch to HTTYD, there's no competition, HTTYD was made with love. It's true to the original amd the animation is 100x better. 10/10 will watch again!

My sons. Got them both as early bday gifts for myself 🩵 Universal Studios toothless popcorn bucket and Regal cinema's toothless popcorn bucket. The Regal one can hold a lot more popcorn than the Universal one

Managed to get the parrots wings done last night. Also finally made a tongue for it. Still need to finish its eyes, and make the tail. Making solid progress!

Feathers are done! Just need to make the thumbs, and then they can be assembled. That'll wait for another day tho

Parrot's wings are today's priority. Currently sewing all the little bits of fleece. Goal is to have them ready to be lined and pinned by end of day

Mission accomplished! All bird tails are done, and parrot's feather bits are all cut sans thumbs. Tomorrow, I'll start sewing all the feathers bits together

This fluff pile is 22 bird tails! All DONE, ironed and delinted. On to the parrot's wings! Need to cut out all the fleece bits. I'm definitely stocked up on bird tails this year!

Just finished ironing 5 sets of premade wings for AC. Normally a single solid colored set takes me 2 weeks at minimum, ive done 5 in that time frame. Plus tails, and other things as well. My back and hands need a massive break after this con. 😅

Went to Joann's, for possibly the last time. Was able to get the last 2 rolls of white fleece that I desperately needed. Also got a nifty mystery box. Ngl the stapler bandaid and trash bags are super useful! Even the container is nice!

Holy heck its been a long work day. Currently getting the last 2 of the premade wings' feathers sewn up. All 5 sets will have their feathers sewn today. As well as 2 sets of tails feathers sewn. Normally it takes me a few weeks just to finish 1 set let alone 5 sets in 2 days. AC crunch is real😵‍💫

Gonna be winging it today, literally, lol. 🪽🪽 I have 5 premade sets for AC that have been all readied to the same stage. Liners cut, fur cut and cuffed, and all heat treated as the fur was wrinkled. Gonna be cutting out all the fleece today. Will also be working on the parrot as well.

This is an eye stencil! The eye for the parrot has a dark red rim to it. So i made a stencil of the rim and painted it onto the black mesh. Stencils are a great way to paint eyes if you don't have dyesub or a printer. I used the same technique and color for cinderace's eyes.

Making progress! Just finished sewing the neck to the cowel. Now I gotta finish gluing around the eyes, then clean up the shaving
